Can I apply more than once?
Yes, it is possible to apply more than once, however we encourage quality over quantity. A maximum of 3 applications per person will be considered in the finalist phase.
Who can enter?
You must be 21 or older and a legal US resident. Submissions from outside the US, or from minors, will be disqualified.
Is AI allowed?
Yes. AI-assisted work is welcome, but you must disclose usage in the submission form.
Who owns the winning work?
Winners grant LOST MARY a perpetual, exclusive commercial license to use the winning work on LOST MARY products, marketing, and merchandise. Winners retain credit — your name will be printed alongside the work — and retain the right to use the work in their personal portfolio.
How do I get paid?
US-based winners with prizes over $600 must submit a W-9 form and will receive a 1099-MISC for tax purposes. Prizes are subject to federal and state tax obligations.
Can I edit my submission?
You can update your submission until September 4, 2026, by contacting our support email boldtobeseen@lostmary.com. After that, submissions are final.
What about copyright?
You retain copyright on your submission. For full details on licensing and rights, please refer to Section 11 of our Terms & Conditions.
